A Shrewsbury woman who hoped to gain supporters to set up a stall for her much-loved charity has been able to achieve her goal ā thanks to the Chronicle.
Back in January, the Chronicle published a feature on Jenny Lack, 61, from Plealey, whose homemade Capri-Sun carton handbags became a successful fundraiser for The Brooke charity to help more than 650,000 working horses, donkeys and mules in the developing world.
She said. āIām extremely grateful to the Chronicle, because it has made a huge difference.ā Jenny and her fellow supporters will be holding a Brooke stand in the Square this Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
