Our Lingen Davies Appeal is in line for a massive boost thanks to a building society.
Birmingham Midshires has chosen the appeal to be its 2009 Local Charity of the Year and if it is as successful as last year, the fund could receive around £70,000.
It was chosen thanks to employee Vicky Jackson, who has been treated at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital cancer centre. She said: “Having gone through treatment myself, I can say that the staff and the treatment they provide is first rate. This appeal will ensure that they have the facilities to match.”
