Shrewsbury’s MP Daniel Kawczynski has given his full support to the Chronicle’s new Young Carers Appeal.
With readers’ help we want to raise £20,000 a year for the Red Cross who help these amazing young people and offer them guidance and respite through activities and days out.
Mr Kawczynski said that young carers showed extraordinary maturity, courage and resilience and that they needed to receive much more assistance.
He said: “We need more resources for carers in the community who fulfil such a vital role. I am fully behind the Chronicle’s excellent appeal which aims to help these youngsters.”
