Shropshire Archives has reopened to the public following a five week closure for a major refit.
Visitors to the service, located on Castle Gates, will find improved and more spacious public areas.
Security systems, including CCTV, have also been updated and improved.
The archives will now be open Wednesdays, 10am to 5pm, Thursdays 10am to 8pm, Fridays 10am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 4pm.
County archivist Mary McKenzie said: “I am grateful to all our customers for their patience.”
“Over the next couple of weeks we will be asking our customers what they think of the changes.”
